The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control announced it is investigating new possible cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. The total number of positive cases statewide, as of 10-3020,  is 167,057, including 1,219 in Chester County. Statewide, 3,653 deaths have been reported, including 27 in Chester County.
