Project Title: CHESTER FARMERS AND ARTISAN MARKET IMPROVEMENTS

“The City of Chester is soliciting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for improvements to the existing building for the Farmer’s and Artisan Market at 111 Columbia Street, Chester, SC 29706. The interior improvements to the Farmer’s and Artisan Market will include flooring installation, ceiling insulation and finishing, installation of HVAC and ducts in the building, window tinting for all exterior windows, removal and replacing of rear rolling-doors, installation of locking swinging doors for kitchen, weather proofing exterior doors, addressing of wooden frames around all windows and possible removal and replacing if necessary to insulate windows, water damage repairs to rear walls of the building, miscellaneous masonry repairs, and caulking where air penetrates the building. The exterior scope will include miscellaneous repairs to the retaining wall, installation of a trench drain at the side door, and an installation of two trench drains of the rear rolling doors. The project will be bid based upon estimated quantities at a unit price and the City of Chester reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities associated with the project at its discretion and as necessary to perform the work.”

A Pre‐Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM for this project. The Pre‐Bid Conference will be held at the Project location, located at 111 Columbia Street, Chester, SC 29706. Attendance is not mandatory to submit a bid, but is strongly encouraged.
