The City of Chester Parks & Recreation Department provides recreational and special activities to Chester, South Carolina. Parks & Recreation is busy throughout the year maintaining 8 parks, 1 football field, 3 softball fields, 7 tennis courts, 1 nature trail, 1 fitness trail, 1 swimming pool, and 7 park shelters. The Parks and Recreation Department also offers various sports and educational programs. Our mission is to ensure that we enhance Chester’s neighborhoods by providing the ABC's of Recreation:
