The Chester Fire Department serves approx. 38 sq. miles of residental and industrial properties. The fire district is protected by two stations and 24 paid personnel and support from 18 volunteers. The paid personnel consist of Chief, 3 Captains, 3 Lieutenants, Fire Marshal, 12 Engineers and 4 Firefighters.

Capt. Todd Orr

At 17, June 1978, Todd became a volunteer for the
Chester Fire Dept. On March 3,1980, Todd was hired
as a full time firefighter.
Through the rankes, Todd served as Engineer and
Lieutenant and was promoted to Captain in 2003.
Todd was also the Training Officer for the department.
Lt. Jimmy Jeter

Jimmy became a volunteer in September 1983.
On November 1,1984 Jimmy was hired full time.
Jimmy served the department for 21 years as an
Engineer and recently promoted to Lieutenant in
2004. JJ was over building maintenance and
vending for the department.
